SPARTA, NC – August 17, 2021 – American Sanders, a worldwide leader in the design and production of wood floor sanders, edgers, and finishes, announced dates and new courses for its 2022 wood floor sand & finish training program. The American Sanders Sand & Finish Training Program for 2022 will include new courses for advanced level contractors as well as those still in the early development of their career.

The Advanced Contractor curriculum will now include 1 day of installation technique added to the 3 day course. The addition of a day of installation technique is a result student input and questions on how to manage a variety of situations on jobsites, created during the floor installation process. Learning more about the installation process is intended to help more contractors better understand jobsite conditions, identify proper and improper floor installations and how it can affect the sanding and finishing process.

Returning in 2022 American Sanders is hosting the International Wood Flooring Association IWFA Expert Sand & Finish School. This school will focus on master level sanding techniques and ultra-high-end finishing, designing custom wood floors with color effects, working with metallics, creating visual effects of borders and patterns both with and without inlays.

American Sanders will continue the industry’s original Edgers Only school in 2022. This very popular course will provide contractors a unique hands on opportunity to learn proper edger set up for better performance, edging techniques that produce smoother floors with less effort, and also how to maintain their machines.
